Blues Equation's debut EP Everybody's Heart is the first step in the group's recording journey with a collection of tunes that signifies a return to the art of the instrumental, evoking bands of the past like Booker T, Weather Report, Ramsey Lewis, the Crusaders – groups that slung hooks around and created a soundtrack for people’s lives. Good vibes is the hallmark of Blues Equation's music, even as the band expresses with the freedom of spirit that’s rooted in the jazz tradition.
